Having the chance to photograph the historic fields of Gettysburg and witness how history comes alive through Gettysburg National Military Park, a battlefield walk or evening campfire program, and other special events including living history groups and band concerts are great to enjoy.
As part of Gettysburg tradition, the Cemetery Ridge is the site where you can relive the Union Lines for the final two days of the battle where General Pickett hurled his cavalry, resulting in 80% casualties , a figure never equaled by any other Union regiment during the Civil War.
With wide spread doors, Home of George Washington Shriver, Saloon on Ten Pin Alley 1860 has been well preserved and its furnishing restored museum details what life in 1863 was like amid the battle through artifacts, including Civil War bullets and medical equipment which are on display.

Tour Details
- Price includes transportation to and from all tour sites.
- Travel will be by motor coach and will include walking.
- Tour begins and ends at Union Station. There is no pick-up for the tour.
- Parking is available at Union Station parking lots.
- Tour lasts approximately 10 hours.
- Departure time is at 8 AM, it is recommended to be at Union Station by 7:30 or 7:45 AM. Tour runs on Mondays from March through October.
- Time on your own for shopping and food purchases will be provided.
- Cameras and video cameras are permitted.
- Casual dress is recommended.
- Appropriate for children ages 3 and up.
- Motorcoach can accommodate those with handicaps.
