This all-day event departing from Union Station tours the monuments, museums and the Smithsonian Institution. Many of the points of interest on the tour will be visible from the coach, but the tour also allows people to see the inside of other Washington DC attractions such as the Capitol building and the National Air and Space Museum. When riding in the coach, many federal buildings and military buildings make up the majority of the points of interest. The ticket for the tour does not pay for lunch. Lunch will be available at a food court where adequate time will be given to eat and look around before continuing the tour.
FULL DESCRIPTION
Wasn't what I expected. Missed the tour the first day due to traffic. Could not get to Union station on time. Signs in DC definitely need to be improved. Didn't even get to go to the visitors center at the White House. Road closed. Dignitaries present. Too much time allowed at most stops. Didn't get to see as many sights on the bus as expected.
