Shopping Centers in the Washington DC Area

Washington DC is home to a wide variety of great shopping destinations, from trendy and upscale boutiques to a bargain hunters dream of discounted outlet mall shops. Visitors and locals alike love shopping at the many great shopping centers in the area. Take some time on your next trip to the area and pick up some great merchandise at these fine shopping centers.

The Shops at Georgetown Park is a sophisticated shopping destination, home to over 100 premier shops, boutiques, art galleries, and dining options. While you shop, enjoy the elegant ambiance and award-winning architecture of Georgetown Park. You won't find any large department stores at Georgetown Park. Instead, you will find a unique selection of smaller national shops as well as one-of-a-kind local boutiques, selling everything from fashionable apparel and accessories for all ages to jewelry, toys, books, and more. You can enjoy a great meal at restaurants such as Benihana and others, or head off on a sightseeing tour of the city from the shopping center with tickets at the Old Town Trolley Ticket Booth. Just outside of Washington DC in nearby Arlington, the Ballston Common Mall provides you with a traditional indoor shopping mall experience. This mall is home to dozens of great and recognizable name brand stores such as the Gap, Footlocker, Victoria's Secret and more, as well as locally owned shops and boutiques like Anita's Treasures and Ciseaux Salon. The Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets in nearby Leesburg, Virginia is a popular family shopping destination. Dulles Town Center is one of the area's premier indoor shopping centers, and boasts over 1.4 million square feet of shops, restaurants, and more. Spread across this gorgeous mall, you will find major retail stores like Macy's, Lord and Taylor, JC Penney, Nordstrom's, and Sears. There are also dozens of smaller, name brand stores like Abercrombie and Fitch, Banana Republic, Gap, Motherhood Maternity, New York and Co, and more. When hunger strikes, you will have plenty of dining options to choose from, including Cheesecake Factory, Mimi's Cafe, Chuck E Cheese, Red Robin, Pizzeria Uno, Benihana, and others. The Dulles Town Center is located at 21100 Dulles Town Circle in Sterling, Virginia.
