Organized by the American Veterans Center, the Memorial Parade at DC is a recent Phenomenon .It was reinstated to the city after a long time by the former Mayor Anthony A. Williams. It commemorates the war veterans' right from the time of the American Revolution to the present conflict in Iraq.
