Praise in the Park: A Gospel Explosion is a great way to enjoy Six Flags and Praise God all at the same time. The event takes place in June and combines a two day live Gospel concert with the regular excitement of Six Flags. The concert is free with admission to the amusement park and is located in the Gotham Arena in Gotham City. There is a fee for preferred seating.
The 2008 line-up includes Trin-I-Tee 5:7 which is a Grammy nominated group and John P. Kee, a well known Gospel singer, and his choir.
While you are Praise in the Park you will be able to enjoy the many rides and activities of Six Flags America. Six Flags America has more than 50 rides and a water park. Some of the more adventurous rides at Six Flags America include: Superman: Ride of Steel, The Joker's Jinx and Tower of Doom. There are also a number of family rides including: The Penguin's Blizzard Wizard, Pirate's Flight and, Skull Mountain. Many of those rides have minimum height requirements but there are also a number of rides appropriate for kids. Some of the best children's rides include: Bugs Bunny's Back Lot Trucking Company, Sylvester's Bounce and Pounce and Looney Tunes Prop Warehouse.
The water park also has different rides with different height requirements. Some popular rides include: Hurricane Bay, Tornado and, Hurricane Mountain.
