National Mall in Washington, DC has been around since 1965. It's often referred to as the National Mall & Memorial Parks. It includes protected land and some of the oldest in the National Park Service. Visitors that come to this wonderful tourist attraction have the opportunity to honor and pay homage to the many sacrifices of the war veterans, commemorate the legacies left by our many presidents and celebrate our constant commitment to the freedom of the United States. This Mall is not something that will be enjoyed only by adults. The many monuments and memorials in the Mall as well as the beautiful grounds often fascinate children.
